Mitchell Reardon

With 17 years in the residential building industry, Mitch combines traditional craftsmanship with modern construction methods to deliver exceptional results for Queensland homeowners. As a Brisbane local, husband and father of two, he appreciates the role a well-designed home plays in everyday family life.

Mitch has made a name for himself in Queenslander renovations and removal homes, with a particular ability to replicate intricate period details, VJ linings, fretwork, casement joinery and original profiles, while modernising these homes for the way families live today.

Mitch leads every Topbuild project personally, onsite, on the tools, and across every detail from first set-out to final handover. Every project benefits from hands-on involvement, clear communication and consistent oversight from start to finish.

Why choose us as your builder

The Right Number of Projects. The Right Level of Attention.

Topbuild Group deliberately takes on a limited number of projects each year, ensuring quality workmanship is never compromised by volume and that every project is completed efficiently.

We understand that many clients need alternative accommodation during construction and are eager to return home as soon as possible. That's why, when you sign a contract with Topbuild, you'll receive a detailed construction schedule outlining each stage of the build and your anticipated handover date.

Our schedules are prepared with realistic timeframes, allowances for normal construction variables, including weather delays and unforeseen works that can arise when renovating existing homes. We consistently deliver projects on schedule, whether you're aiming to move in before a new baby arrives, before Christmas, or before the start of the school year.

What you're getting

  • Established expertise: With nearly two decades in the industry, Mitch has experience across both high-volume residential construction and complex custom projects. The combination of this experience providing the skill set to work efficiently while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and personalised service expected in a custom-built home.
  • Honest Advice, Your Decision: Whether we're discussing a new concept or problem-solving an unexpected finding within the existing structure, we'll provide our professional insight, outline the available options, and explain the pros and cons of each approach. You'll always receive honest, practical advice, and we'll never recommend spending money on something that doesn't add genuine value to your project. From there, the decision is yours, we'll proceed with the solution that best aligns with your preferences, priorities, and budget.
  • Practical insight. Having worked alongside many designers and across a wide variety of homes, we can offer practical ideas and small design refinements that make a big difference to how a home functions every day. From improving storage and circulation to making better use of natural light and outdoor spaces, these details are often overlooked on plans but have a lasting impact on comfort, convenience, and liveability.
  • Resale-aware decisions. Some choices add real value when you sell, and some are money you'll never see again. If there's any chance you'll sell in the future, it's worth considering how today's decisions may affect tomorrow's sale price. We'll help you invest where it counts and avoid spending on features that add little practical or resale value.
  • We're on site, every working day. With 15+ trades often contributing to a single build, delivering a quality outcome is as much about coordination as it is craftsmanship. Our role is to oversee the project, ensure work is completed in accordance with the plans, and manage the many details that can easily be overlooked between construction stages. Regular site presence allows us to verify critical details before they're concealed and ensure each trade's work comes together as intended.
