02, Insurances

Cover for every stage of the build.

QBCC Home Warranty

Statutory home warranty cover taken out on every residential project over $3,300, in line with QBCC requirements.

Public Liability

We hold Public Liability Insurance cover up to $20 million. This insurance protects against claims arising from accidental injury to third parties or damage to property caused by our construction activities, including impacts to neighbouring properties.

Contract Works Insurance

Separate from QBCC Home Warranty Insurance, this insurance covers the partially built structure, on-site materials, and damage caused by events such as storm, fire, or impact during construction. It can also extend to the existing structure where it forms part of the building works. This insurance is in place before every project commences on site.

Workers' Compensation

Full WorkCover Queensland coverage for our employed team and verified for all engaged subcontractors.

03, Contracts

QBCC-compliant contracts on every project.

Master Builders Level 2

We use the Master Builders Queensland Residential Building Contract (Level 2) as our default, a fixed-price contract that meets all QBCC and Domestic Building Contracts Act requirements.

Cooling-off & deposits

Deposits are capped per QBCC schedule. You receive your statutory five business-day cooling-off period and a copy of the QBCC Pocket Guide before signing.

Defects & warranty

A 12-month structured defects period is standard, on top of the 6-year, 6-month statutory warranty for structural defects under QBCC home warranty.
